We’re a Phoenix family business, founded in 2016 by Raoul Torrez Jr. — a Valley native, former professional baseball player, and licensed public adjuster who built this company on a simple belief: towing customers deserve the same transparency and care that every other service industry provides.

The roots of Freeway Towing run deep in Phoenix. Raoul’s grandparents, Adolpho and Kay Torrez, founded the iconic Azteca Bridal in Central Phoenix — a Valley institution for decades. Raoul attended Brophy College Preparatory and played Division I baseball at Arizona State University. He was selected in the 2010 MLB Draft and played professionally in the Arizona Diamondbacks and Houston Astros organizations. After baseball, he became a licensed public adjuster at a State Farm agency — where he developed deep expertise in vehicle damage claims, insurance coordination, and roadside service logistics.
